Hi Everyone,

Thank You for joining me on my My Craft Spot VALENTINE INSPIRATION Day!

For my first project, I used the BRAND NEW "Build A Valentine" Stamp Set. I just LOVE how you can use all these separate phrases to create the PERFECT sentiment for your creations.

I used the "You're" and "Dino-mite!" phrases to create this "YOU'RE DINO-MITE!" Shaped Card.

The adorable dinosaur is from the Cricut Create A Critter Cartridge sized at 6.25". I used the Shadow Feature and welded two of them together to create the Card Base.

I used the Cricut Craft Room to hide the original spots and replaced them with some smaller hearts from the same Cricut Create A Critter Cartridge.

I also hid the "eye" the cut includes and used my Peachy Keen Med. Critter Faces to give the dinosaur an adorable LOVE expression. I did mix n' match them to get the look I wanted.

In order to have the dinosaur hold a small Valentine Heart Note, I had to use my Kraft Knife to finish cutting his other arm. The Heart is from the Cricut Create A Critter Cartridge and I stamped another GREAT phrase from the My Craft Spot "Build A Valentine" Stamp Set.

I used papers from the We R Memory Keepers Love Struck 6x6 Paper Pad. I added some Stickles around the edges of the Spikes and Belly.

And to finsh getting my Dinosaur ready for Valentine's, I tied some "Scarlet Red" Crinkled Ribbon from My Craft Spot around his neck. I cut a 1.5" Tag1 from the Cricut Plantin SchoolBook Cartridge and stamped it with the two phrases from the My Craft Spot "Build A Valentine" Stamp Set. I added a small button twined with some "Divine Valentine" Baker's Twine available at My Craft Spot.

The inside of the card was also stamped with another phrase from the "Build A Valentine" Stamp Set.

You all know how I like my dimension. This card has a total of 3 Layers, each separate by some of my Home-made Dimensionals.

I hope you have enjoyed my FIRST project for the My Craft Spot VALENTINE INSPIRATION. Please scroll down for more projects.

Hi Everyone,

Thank You for joining me on my My Craft Spot VALENTINE INSPIRATION Day!

For my SECOND project, I used the BRAND NEW "Always & Forever" Stamp Set. These stamps have a LOVELY Romantic feel to them, PERFECT for any LOVE, VALENTINE or ANNIVERSARY card.

I fell in LOVE with the "My {Heart} belongs to you." and knew I had to use it.

I based the card on the Mojo Monday #224 Sketch.

I replaced the scallop circle on the sketch for a Heart cut from the Cricut Create A Critter Cartridge. I can't remember what size it was cut out at, but it measures roughly 2.5"W x 2"H.

I used the Flag(pg.28) from the Cricut Create A Critter Cartridge to make my banner. I simply hid the smily face on the Flag and welded a small rectangle to it until it reached the size I wanted. I then used the My Craft Spot "Always & Forever" Stamp Set to stamp my sentiment on it.

To go with the Romantic feel of the sentiment, I distressed the edges of the patterned paper layer and heart. I also used my sewing machine - YES, I finally got one, but its a cheap version from CVS and only does straight stitching, but I'm soo happy with it - to stitch around the edges.

Before adhereing the layers to the Card Base, I used some "Cream" Seam Binding from My Craft Spot to tie a double loop bow. I centered it with a button twined with some of the "Divine Valentine" Baker's Twine, also available at My Craft Spot.

The inside of the card is also stamped with another sentiment from the "Always & Forever" Stamp Set. I LOVE how this stamp set also give you the option to piece together two separate phrases to create your PERFECT sentiment.

As with all of my cards, I couldn't leave it at one layer. I give the Heart and Sentiment Banner some slight dimension, just by bending and folding.

I hope you have enjoyed my SECOND project for the My Craft Spot VALENTINE INSPIRATION. Please scroll down for more projects.

Hi Everyone,

Thank You for joining me on my My Craft Spot VALENTINE INSPIRATION Day!

For my FOURTH project, I used the BRAND NEW "Always & Forever" Stamp Set. I just LOVE how this set is filled with LOVELY ROMANTIC, yet simple phrases that can be used on any LOVE-type card.

I wanted to show you how one of these simple phrases can make your cards stand out.

I based the card on the Viva La Verve January Week1 Sketch.

Again, I replaced the circle with a Heart, but this time from the Cricut Simply Cartridge(pg.31) cut at 1.75" REAL. I added the letters "I" and "U" cut from the Cricut Birthday Bash Cartridge at 1.25".

I added a small tag from the Plantin SchoolBook Cartridge stamped with the "XOXO""Hugs & Kisses" - phrases from the "Always & Forever" Stamp Set. I tied it around the letter "U" with some "Divine Valentine" Baker's Twine available at My Craft Spot.

I used some of my Home-Made Dimensionals to pop-up the letters and heart in layers.

I distressed the edges and stitched around them - Can you tell I LOVE my new sewing machine?

The inside of the card is also stamped with the "Always & Forever" Stamp Set.

I hope you have enjoyed my FOURTH project for the My Craft Spot VALENTINE INSPIRATION. Please scroll down for more projects.

Hi Everyone,

Welcome to FCCB's Challenge Me Monday #96!

Valentine's Day is just around the corner and this week's FCCB Challenge Me Monday #96 wants to make sure you have the PERFECT cards for friends, co-workers, kids, teachers, etc. This week's challenge is all about VALEN-TINIES! Simply create a small card measuring 3x3 or so.

Before I move on to my VALEN-TINY project, I want to let you know about our FANTABULOUS sponsor this week at FCCB - My Creative Time.

My Creative Time

Emma from My Creative Time has generously donated one of her 100% Sweetness Stamp Sets to ONE lucky random challenge participant. In addition, she has provided the DT with TWO of her Valentine Themed Stamp Sets - 100% Sweetness and Classmate Valentines. Unfortunately, I won't be playing along with these stamp sets, but please be sure to stop by FCCB to see all the WONDERFUL creations the DT has come up with.

~*~
For my VALEN-TINY Cards, I wanted to create something unique & different and took some liberties with the challenge. I opted for small 3" Round BE MINE VALEN-TINIES.

I was actually inspired by the Card Patterns Sketch 149. I fell LOVE with the idea of a scalloped card with a heart.

The Scalloped Card Base was created by welding two 3" Scalloped Circles from the Cricut Craft Room Basics Digital Cartridge together. I then layered two more Circles from the Cricut Craft Room Basics at 2-3/4" and 2-5/8". The Heart is also from the Cricut Craft Room Basics cut at 1.75".

I wanted to create a Simple & Elegant VALEN-TINY card, so I used a simple phrase from the BRAND NEW My Craft Spot "Build A Valentine" Stamp Set. I stamped the phrase on a banner piece I put together using the Cricut Create A Critter Flag(pg.28).

I used some "Scarlet Red" Crinkled Ribbon to create a bow and centered it with some "Divine Valentine" Baker's Twine - available at My Craft Spot - and a Glimmer Misted Rose, although you can't see it in the picture.

I distressed the edges of the two layered circles.

The inside of these 3" Round VALEN-TINIES is also stamped with the My Craft Spot "Build A Valentine" Stamp Set.

Here is a quick look at the BE MINE VALEN-TINIES laying down flat.

Ok, NOW its your turn! Create a VALEN-TINY project and link it up to the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog by Sunday, February 5th 11:59PM EST for your chance to win this week's My Creative Time prize.
